My second month on DA.
This is going to be relatively short but follow a similar path as the first one.
So over the past month and a half I have a lot of fun making captions, I liked some of the ideas and I received and finished a couple of requests. I also tried some new ideas/techniques. Some these of the the captions I did I felt I did great on some I want to go back and fix, mostly from a writing standpoint. Once I get back I will probably fix the errors and revamp some older captions that I created when I first started posting. There are requests that I took that I didn't finish I might be able to get them done during the break, but I wouldn't hold high hopes as internet access will be limited for the next 2 months but after that time I will definitely finish them.
The German translation- I attempted to *cough* poorly translate some of my shorter captions to Deutsch, the first attempt could only be described as mediocre as it was not even at a legible level. This was fix be a kind person on DA who helped me in fix the Everest mountain of mistakes. After which the caption turned out fine with some adjustments. I didn't really plan on translating another till someone asked about it, that one came out, I believe quite a bit better as it's actually legible and not just drunk babble.
Once I get back I look forward to creating more captions, I have some of what I feel are cool pictures, I'll also probably attempt to draw some my self or just color outlines in, an example of this would be Old Maid-A New Year (TG-CAPTION) (Perspective)
Where I colored in the cherry blossoms branches and flowers from an outline before using them throughout the caption.
I would also like to do more that have background animations similar to So You Want to be a Star(TG-Caption)
Which I thought was an interesting and fun concept to employ.
Where does this leave me?
I might be able to check on DA every once in while but that will be very rare I don't suspect the greatest internet connection when I arrive. Hopefully DA doesn't change too much by the time I get back.
